Frequently Asked Questions 2
Why do so many people worship so many different things -- golden calves, burning bushes and the like? Wondering in Worcester
ID: Worship inspires inventiveness. If you think there are a lot of targets on earth, you would get dizzy trying to account for all the other forms of worship. Apparently, variety is the spice of liturgy.
Why are there only ten commandments? Inquisitive in Indianapolis
ID: There are a great many more than ten, but it's hard work to carry them all when they're carved in stone.
What do you make of public figures commenting on intelligent design? Questioning in Qum
ID: Frankly, I wish they'd butt out! The intelligent designer does not need any help explaining the universe from the Pope, much less Ron DeSantis.
How does the intelligent design account for lousy education by the Hasidic yeshivas in New York [New York Hasidic Yeshivas]? Puzzled in Poughkeepsie
ID: Folks who try to second guess the intelligent design lead themselves (and their children) astray. Studying the design's past gives no clue as to its future. They would be better advised to just go with the flow and leave the design's trajectory to the intelligent designer.
Have you seen the Ben Stein movie? Uncertain in Ulaanbaatar
ID: The intelligent designer is tired of over-simplified screeds full of false claims. Of course there are critics of the way things are; that is part of the design. Ben Stein should just get over it.
